Brendon and I have worked in healthcare for many years. We have seen and experienced both for ourselves and the people around us – family, friends and customers the journey that our lives can take from fit, healthy and well through to serious illness and multiple health challenges. We see people from many walks of life and at different stages in their lives seeking health advice and reassurance. We’ve learnt that it is a privilege to be involved in people’s lives and to use our professional knowledge to help them with their health concerns.

Pharmacy Innovators

At Harts Pharmacy we have an innovative approach to pharmacy. We like to use complimentary treatments alongside more traditional medications, where appropriate. We have a Pharmacist who is also a herbalist so we have access to very high quality natural ingredients to make our own natural herbal remedies. We believe this is a strength in our pharmacy and we get very positive feedback from our customers as to the effectiveness of these remedies.

Wellness promotion is of particular interest to us at Harts Pharmacy. Education around healthy living is a lifelong interest of mine. Through our blog articles we will be discussing different topics focusing on healthy lifestyle so watch this space...

Feedback from customers

We encourage and enjoy getting feedback from our customers so that we can continually learn what genuinely helps people. We have regular discussions with our team about ways that we can improve our services. Pharmacists have ongoing education which is a requirement for New Zealand Registration and keeps their professional knowledge up to date.

Need more time to speak to our pharmacist?

Being a pharmacist is a busy and demanding profession and obviously our pharmacists speak with our customers as much as possible. However, sometimes, more time to consult a pharmacist is needed. To address this for our customers, every Thursday 10am-12pm instore we have a pharmacist available to do a free ½ hour consultation. Please phone the pharmacy to make an appointment on 09 425-8344.
